This product with the yeti tanks is amazing. We were in a freak thunderstorm and it wiped out tents all over the place. We were not in the position to worry about getting our solar system out of the storm but basically running for cover. This system provided all the power it needed to and charged well with the solar panels. Need less to say the system actually survived the storm and got wet. Highly recommend this unit.

Got the 1000x primarily to power my Dometic fridge/freezer while overlanding and it will last for 3-4+ days depending on conditions. Excellent balance between bulk, weight and capabilities. Needed some recalibration early on but easy to do. Highly recommend.

I had been wanting the Goal Zero Yeti 1000X for some time. I have purchased the Yeti 150 as well as the Yeti 500X. The only complainant that I have found is that the charging box gets very hot when charging the 1000X. I haven't found any other issues. I have used it for just about anything you can think of...cellphones, tablets, computers, fans, lanterns, heaters, blow-dryers, and hair straighteners. I haven't had to use it yet, for anything major, but I have no doubts if I had to it would do the job!
