Worked for the 1st few times

Ooni pro 16 with charcoal, decided to upgrade to gas setup and it worked pretty good 1st 4 times. After that built in igniter stopped working, burner would not stay lit after approx 10min and work very sporadically after re igniting flame. Definitely something wrong with the thermocouple probe. Ram all the troubleshooting available and it’s still worthless.

The temperature nod its extremely convenient to regulate the temperature and save gas when not using it for short periods.
Highly recommended if the weather conditions are not perfect and if you are a one man show.

Ooni 3 gas burner

Great addition which allows better control than the pellets on cooking pizza , the igniting was problematic after a year and now 3 years in the FSD has failed with no replacement or parts available!! Only option is to buy a new oven, not the best outcome after only three years ! Now stuck with a good oven but only the pellet option !

Not enough for pizza in 60 seconds

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought it as replacement for my original wood pellet burner, for Uuni 3 pizza Owen which is not available anymore as a spare part. Due to the fact front door needs to be open all the time the stone is not heated enough to bake pizza from the bottom quick enough while at the same time flame from the top burns cheese too fast even in lowest setting. The air in the Owen is not hot enough to bake pizza evenly from the side after the dough rises up. In conclusion not enough baked bottom and sides, while burnt top and it takes almost 3 minutes to finish the process. My old pellet burner was soooo much better, 60-80 seconds, three turns and done, perfect pizza. Why it is not anymore available as a spare part? I need to somehow fix it, the skeleton is still good, just ashtray is burned through and bent.
