Iron cast are great (5

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Iron cast are great (5 of 5). Tree Board protecting very good idea, but will change shape and stick (in the premade wood tracks) when exposed to high heat from iron cast. Wood board would be without the tracks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Don't buy this if it comes with the wood board to sit on when hot. The first time I put the hot grizzler on the wood, it warped to where it's ugly and not usable.

Plate itself is amazing. Wood trivet is splitting after 2 uses

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this Grizzler plate... and it has already been a game changer for steaks and salmon.
Unfortunately, the trivet can't handle the high temperatures of the grizzler plate as the wood is already warping and splitting after 2 uses.
I would recommend the plate... but you better have a different plan for where/how to rest the plate when you pull it out. I probably won't use it again until I can figure this part out.
