Extra versatility

Having the Grizzler has enabled me to use my Ooni oven in a more versatile way. I have cooked lamb chops, roast potatoes and vegetables. My wife appreciated an alternative Easter dinner cooked in only a few minutes. I can also use the Grizzler on my barbecue. A really useful piece of kit.

Used this 3x now and my technique is perfected, cooks a great steak and charred asparagus in minutes but definitely don't omit (1) the initial seasoning routine and (2) pre-heat the griddle in the oven before adding any food to cook!

It's very good but if you're wondering it does need seasoning before use and I have an ooni Karu 12 and although it fits the door doesn't shut quite all the way so if it was just a cm shorter would be better but still absolutely fine and very good for grilling steak, racks of lamb, tomatoes and a lot more. Also really like the fact the handles are separate as no matter how good your gloves are cast iron gets through when hot so very nice although takes a while to get use to the way they attach and want to make sure they're properly in before lifting but the weights not too bad considering it's size and still has great heat retention for getting a steak searing. The beach board it goes on is nice too and handy because I didn't want to put it on my kitchen surfaces or burn my chopping boards placing it on so very good

Nice for grilling a fat

Nice for grilling a fat pork Chop or a sizzling steak, or an omelette, even a handful of fresh sardines under a low heat, try it out, you will not be disappointed.
The only downside is that you will need to buy a warm coat as you will end up outside grilling throughout winter months as well. Thanks Ooni you have changed my life forever!
