In hindsight, a mistake.

Grizzler received, seasoned as per instructions and put to use making porchetta in a 12 wood fired Ooni
Apart from underestimating how much the meat swells and it catching on the oven roof; the pork stuck to the ribbed side of the Grizzler really quite badly.

Conclusions
There's too little room in the 12Â inch Ooni for the Grizzler to be very practical.
Because of it's weight, using the Grizzler in the Ooni can be awkward and slow to manoeuvre with the handles supplied.
However, the Grizzler works great on the barbecue or stove top so it won't be wasted.

Dual sided grizzler plate in a Karu 12

The dual sided grizzler plate is fantastic for cooking a large piece of salmon with a herb butter crust, it crisps the skin and gives a fantastic taste and fast cooking time
