Crispy rice

I was so excited to find a cast iron paella pan. So many paella pans are steel and dont have the heat retention like the iron does. The matte texture of the interior gives a nice sear on my meat and veg and the rice gets nice and crispy. The enamel coating doesnt stain from the saffron and is very easy to clean and never needs seasoning.

In a word, this paella pan is FANTASTIC! It's hard to beat the surface area this pan has for range top or oven cooking. If you have a high output range the entire surface becomes an active, even cooking surface, great for searing large amounts of foods at once. The grenadine is beautiful and looks great on the table, too. The cast iron holds heat really well, keeping foods warm at the table. I'm really happy to finally own this pan. The down side is if your range doesn't have high BTU burners the cooking area in the pan seems to be reduced somewhat to the center of the pan. I gave one as a gift and the recipient loved it, but hasn't enjoyed the same range top cooking surface that I have.

Oh my God! This is awesome! It is large enough to cook for a large family. I love that I use little or no oil and that heat is distributed well. The food always comes out good. It also helps that I don’t need to use multiple pans when cooking several dishes. I also find it easier to move the pan or store it due to the short double handles. I can guarantee that you’ll love to cook with this pan.

I have made Paella in this pan and it is great. The thickness of this makes for a perfect crispy rice bottom with no burn spots.

Your paella will never taste as good as it will in this pan. The classically beautiful grenadine color will add a festive pop of color to your impressive dish. Not versed in paella-making? No worries, this piece is also an excellent pizza pan! Load up your homemade dough and toppings into it and expect the perfect crust every time. The nonstick cast iron interior makes it easy to clean up, even that pesky tomato sauce! Plus, it will never stain so it will look beautiful for a long time!

Great Paella Pan

A great alternative pan if you don’t want to get a stainless steel paella pan, or if you want to make large portions of a recipe. Having double handles really helps carry this piece over to the stove to oven to the table. With the black enameled, it really creates a nice sear, browning of anything you make in this large fry pan. I also really love that grenadine color, it’s a great shade of red and looks great in a kitchen.

Large cooking surface is great for paella, but this piece can also be used as a large fry pan. The double handles provide great maneuverability for use on stove top, oven, or grill. Use the pan to serve your dish on the table keeping contents warm.
