This set will get you through 90% of cooking anything. You can pan fry meat, simmer a sauce, make a stew, roast vegetables, fry chicken, boil potatoes, bake a dessert and everything in between! Both pieces have a black matte interior that browns and sears exceptionally well. They can be used on any cooking surface, including induction up to 500F.

The heating capability of these pans are amazing - they heats up quickly, evenly and retain heat all the way through the cooking process. The cocotte has self-basting spikes on the interior of the lid which collect and return all moisture back into dish so nothing dries out and your flavor base stays balanced. Both pieces have Staub's famous black matte finish on the interior of the pans which creates an exceptional cooking surface that browns and sears perfectly. The pans can with stand temperatures up to 500F and can be used on any cooking surfaces, even your BBQ. This is the perfect duo.

I love this set! Two pieces are extremely useful in the kitchen. You could do soups, stews, bread in the Dutch oven and cinnamon rolls to searing off meats in the frying pan. The matte black inside I swear makes everything taste better. They are a great quality and the black enamel coating is very durable and has some non stick ability making cleaning easy.
