Great Idea

Brilliant concept for a lego set. When I was a kid I liked making things that could do more than sit and look nice. You know, things that transform, function, ect. This set is amazing in how much it fits into itself, very true to the old movies and looks great.
(Photos make it look fat and ugly imo but in person its well proportioned)
Critisizim; and the only reason I took away a notch from the value is the stickers. Imo they should have prints, not stickers. This is clearly a novelty item meant to be shelved and admired and stickers wont last! Plus stickers look tacky. Takes away from the design.
Also I feel the interior is unfinished, the floor of the car needs something more than the base plates...

Fun expert level build

I am a long time fan of Legos, 007, and cars; so this was perfect for me. I enjoyed building this. I did it in 4 hours, but I think I did it rather fast.
The mechanisms to make the different gadgets to work were interesting to put together. I also enjoyed the expert level use of bricks to put things together in an incline, or using multiple different bricks to make one specialized piece then adding it to the overall build.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A nice set but you can't let the kids play with it

The car is lovely, it goes together quickly and there are no real surprises. The chromed parts really make it pop. My only complaint with it is, you can't really let someone jyst play with it.
The chtomed pieces make it stand out and the ejector seat is a great feature, but when my neighbor went to play with it, he picked it up in a way that the front left chromed piece went flying and the rear left back window did the same. I was not watching to see what he did, but I have let this kid play with some of the Technic sets with no problem, This set is really more of a display piece, or an adult toy. You can't let a ten year old just play with it.
Other than that, it is a well designed set that looks terrific.
I would recommend this to a friend!

YOU NEED TO BUILD THIS DB5!!!

I bought this DB5 as a break between building the Porsche 911 and the Bugatti that I cannot wait to start - sort of a relaxing the brain build! - But look out as the charm of putting the operating parts (ejector seat, machine guns etc. ) is much more than enough to make it a fun and very interesting build! The build time was spread over a week in 30-40 minute pieces but no doubt you could do it one day (with plenty of coffee as I do) - Amazing how it all comes together and works!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

A Creator Technic Hybrid? Ejecto seato!!

This is a great set bringing the James Bond gadgets and gizmos to life. An ejector seat, revolving number plates, hidden machine guns, the bulletproof shield and of course, the classic telephone hidden in the door.
As a massive technic and creator expert fan I found this build interesting and fun. All of the mechanics are hidden away and everything operates smoothly.
I do really like the design of the DB5. The designers at Lego have done well to make such a curvy car out of bricks! I know there have been a few people out there who are unsure of the looks of the model but I can honestly say in person it it looks great - a real classic. I would definitely recommend this :-)

A must for James Bond fan

This set is amazing. If you are fan of Bond you has to get it. The details is great and te final product is so beautiful. I want a Bond product from LEGO all my life... the wait is over!!!! Great product highly recommended!!!

This is a very pleasing build.
The gadgets are a nice touch .
Having just built the Technic Porsche, this is a breeze to build.
Probably spent 5 to 6 hours building it.
I would recommend this to a friend!
