Great kit

A very well engineered set.
The features are very clever.
The ejector seat works brilliantly.
The detail is great considering the size of the model.
Lego have really captured the car.
A must for Lego and James Bond fans alike.

Good Lego Set But a Little Frustraing

I like the design, but it was a frustrating build. While I try to seat one piece other pieces are easily knocked off. Compared to other builds I find a lot of the parts in this build do not fit tightly together. It is somewhat fragile.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Thanks for your review! From what you've described, it sounds like a little rebuilding might be in order. If a part in an earlier step is just slightly off (not pressed together tightly enough, or not in the exact right spot), it can throw off things later and cause some instability.

I've been building/playing with Lego for over 50 years. This is the most amazing, most well thought out set I've ever built. So many unconventional ways of using Lego. But oh my God, they work so well. I kept saying "no way" or "that's awesome" for the entire build. Get it. Get it now. Don't let this one slip away if you love Lego. Nuff Said.

Fun build, great gadgets

The build is fun, but the real joy of this set is all the spy-fi detail. I can’t think of another set that includes so many great and playable features. The Headlight machine guns, rotating license plates, bulletproof shield are all wonderful, but the ejector seat really takes the features to another level. The only caveats? Well, to be honest, the legendarily sleek db5, doesn’t really lend itself to the brick format. It can pass for the original, but maybe the limitation of the piece count keeps it from being closer in final resemblance. The grey color chosen for the exterior also leaves a bit to be desired and would probably look better with silver. Overall, a great set and a good display.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My opinion on the set

The set was a great build, I enjoyed it greatly. My only issue, and this may be due to an error I made somewhere during the build, the ejector seat mechanism will occasionally jam, either making it impossible to pull the lever back enough to launch the chair, or with the flipper that actually launches the chair getting stuck at an angle so the chair can't be put back on after launching. the solution I've found to the problem is to remove the blue 1x4 smooth tile piece used to smooth a part of the launcher mechanism. It's worked so far.

Absolutely the coolest and best build...ever!

I was SO excited to get this set for Christmas after my Saturn V build a year ago. You can see how much energy and passion went into this build from the Lego creators. It embodies all of the nostalgia and fun that has been a part of the James Bond movies, and you can see why they featured this car in so many of them. I agree with all of the other reviewers on here about just how much fun it was to put this one together. The engineering that goes into figuring everything out is with this build is just amazing. Well done, Lego!
