Amazing details, fantastic work

The details on this kit is just amazing. All those features in the film are recreated by the incredible Lego engineers. This is definitely a challenging build. But the experience during the building process is fantastic.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Kept my busy over the Christmas break. 4 pieces missing (2 each of the same items) but these were quickly replaced by Lego through the excellent web service and it didn't hold me up.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent set to build. Worth the time. Many unique moving parts. Fun to assemble/build. Intricate at times. If colorblind, can be a challenge. If fingers are a little stiff (if you'e an older builder like myself), can be a bit challenging but worth the time and effort. Hours of enjoyment.
Looking forward to next challenge.

"James Bond Theme Song"

This is my first Creator set that really had my attention since the first time I saw that it was being created.
Being a James Bond Fan, I had to have the iconic James Bond Aston Marton DB5 for my collection. Throughout the whole build I had the James Bond Theme in my head.
As with the Technic Series, I was intrigued on what and how they were going to make things work like they advertised. The guns behind the lights, the changing license plates, the bullet proof shield, and especially the ejector seat! I have showed some friends and everyone LOVES the ejector seat. I Love the instruction booklet how they made it look like you are reading the real file on the Aston Martin DB5 from James Bond.
The one thing that I love about this build is how they made the vehicle look more rounded for a Lego set.
For anyone that is a James Bond Fan, this is a must have!

This 007 Aston Martin is my second set in the cars line of the Creator Expert collection. My first one was the Ford Mustang that I bought a week ago. My critic is simple and is quitely the same for both Aston Martin and Ford Mustang. Masterpieces ! We are talking here about high grade collectible sets. The building fun of these sets are as epic as their display value. There is no doubt in my mind about the fact that these 2 sets (Aston Martin and Ford Mustang) are in the top 20 of the best LEGO sets ever made. I hope LEGO will continue making epic muscle cars or emblematic cars in this line.

Impressive but no mini figures

The assembled model, while not an exact replica due to the Lego format, looks impressive. It has a tougher, industrial, armor-plated appearance. I like it.
There are no mini figures of Bond and the bad guy. Ejecting an empty seat is not satisfying. I use another mini figure that did not come with this set.

Good build overall. Had fun building it. Make sure you pay close attention to the technic power functions. Because if you miss a step and build around it. You end up tearing everything apart to fix it.
