Awesome build!!!

My son led me to the web site for this great build and I bought it in the first minute I saw it. An excellent build and fairly complex. I have 3 other cars from Lego and about 44 architecture kits in my collection. I have been building for only a couple of years, but enjoy doing these kits tremendously. The features of the car are as close as you can get in a Lego model. I even like the movable "bonnet" where you can see the motor. I only has a small issue with the front bumper and the movable license plate. I found that the pieces fit together but were a little bit too long causing the headlight/guns not to move all the way. I checked for construction and all was right so I filed down the blue connector and it works great. otherwise it is a fine example of Lego engineering. The added "License to drive " card sent to me was just a fun bonus.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Oh no! We definitely wouldn't recommend filing any parts. I know you've double-checked, but it's highly likely that something's still off in the build. The headlights should be moving smoothly if everything's built exactly as shown in the instructions.

As a Bond fan I had to have this model. The build was great and the gadgets created by Q work fantastic. The quality of the build is exceptional. I would highly recommend this model.

Gotta say, there are parts that you have to take your time on when building the set otherwise you will miss a crucial step and have to work your way to getting that fixed.
Overall, my mother and I wanted to get this set because we are huge fans of LEGO (My older brother and I still have our first set from 20ish years ago) and James Bond. I grew up watching these movies with my parents and now am able to own something that I will keep around.
It took us an evening to build, but we wanted to make an evening of it. If someone was truly trying they could probably get it built in about 3 hours. Most of it is very sturdy and wont break easily, but the roof is a little weaker design, but I can understand that (only way to make it as thin as it is with the ejector seat hatch). There are many moving parts and some of them you have to make sure the surrounding parts are perfectly aligned, otherwise the moving parts get caught. There are stickers and they are small, I would recommend an exact o-knife/hobby knife or something similar when attaching them.
This set is awesome and I am very glad that we got it. It will go well with my other "model car" style sets.

Very good build. When I saw lego had made this I knew I had to have it. The light guns did get stuck a few times after I finished building, but once used about 30 times they worked fine.
Also did a v8 swap, because v8 swap.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I think this model has brought me more joy to build than any other in years. Right from the style of the building manual to seeing it all come together, and everything works so smoothly. Couldn't be happier, my only hope is that they do the Lotus too.

What can i say apart from a great bit of lego,looks amazing when finished,read one of the reviews which complained about the colour,not lego s fault as they have copied the car from the classic James Bond films... well worth the money but i do think lego are missing out on a trick by not selling the lighting kits that can be bought for these,ive put one on mine and it really is a head turner,so come on lego do the light kits for future models......

This was a set I was excited to get as soon as it was released. It was a fun build with some areas that were challenging to get together. Most of the functionality of the DB5 work nicely, the ejector seat can be a little touchy/clunky, but when it shoots out it is cool. Overall a very nice addition to any collection.
I would recommend this to a friend!
