[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice set, much lighter than expected. Incredibly sharp out of the box and hope that the reputation and quality stand the test of time. Was a bit odd to have 8 + 1 steak knives and would have loved an additional paring knife but oh well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I cannot believe I held off investing in buying a good set of knives until now. I love cooking and do a lot of it. These knives make a world of difference and are light which is my preference. I was a bit skeptic when a lot of reviews mentioned that the knives fit loosely in the block and was worried about them falling or looking unorganized. I have to say that they aren’t snug, but they also aren’t hanging at different angles/loose nor easy to tip. When the package arrived, my husband was being sarcastic about how it is a waste of money and wanted to test them. Needless to say, he was like WOW. I also like that they have a lifetime warranty and arrived so fast.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My experience started shopping for a set of cutco knives as a gift. I know nothing about knives but always heard cutco was the best. When I learned of cutco’s exorbitant prices I not only accepted that I had to go elsewhere, but was genuinely interested in why they cost so much. So I began to research knife construction and best knives on the market. Most reviews led me to either of the German made knives, Wusthof or Zwilling. If you want to have a thorough understanding of what Zwilling/JA Henckles product your buying then good luck. It took quite a bit of research. That is my only complaint about this product. It is tremendously complicated to figure out if your Zwilling/JA Henckles knives are made in Germany versus another country, made with German steel, stamped or forged, ect. It took figuring out a difference in the emblem to determine the quality of the knives. I believe I made the best choice for my needs because I purchased the Twin Signature set which is made in Germany with German steel but they are stamped not forged (which is what cutco is for quadruple the price). The knives are razor sharp and very lightweight. I did a lot of research and this was the best bargain high quality knife before entering the forged category. I am very happy with the quality of this product just wish it took a little less work to reach my conclusion.
