Great knives

I received the knives as a gift, but even though I didn’t select them myself, I am very happy with the quality of the knives. To echo other reviewers however, I am disappointed in the block design. It was the first comment that I made when I was unpacking the set. As others have also stated, the 4.5” utility doesn’t seem to make sense given the 8 steak knives. Consideration should be given to replacing that one with something else. Otherwise, I expect to use these knives for a long time. They are a great addition to the kitchen.

Beautiful Knife Set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far I love this knife set. The construction is sturdy and the knives are sharp and cut well and the wood the block is made from us beautiful! My only real complaint at this point is the slots the knives go in are MUCH larger than the knives themselves so they wiggle around and generally makes the set look “messy”. And the placement of the scissors and sharpening tool are in the way when I go to grab my chef’s knife or bread knife. Oh, also, the vegetable utility knife is just another steak knife. It even has the same part number, they just call it something different.

Very nice knifes set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the balanced weight if the knifes. Not too light or too heavy. Very sharp and very well presented. I feel like a professional chef with these knifes in my hand.
Only complaint is that the set is supposed to include 8 steak knifes and a vegetable utility knife but the last one is just another steak knife. Even the box describes them as separate items but the actual product code is the same for both.
Not a huge deal, just kind of misleading

This knife set was not what we were expecting when ordering these knives. The quality is lacking. The smaller knives are very flimsy and do not feel sturdy in hand. The chefs knife is more sturdy and not as flimsy, butstill does not compare to the classic Henkel knives.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
