[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love to cook and have been using a sub par knife set for the last 15 years. Just received these and am blown away - I’m not sure why it took so long to replace my previous set! Excited to cook and utilize this set for many years to come.

Great overall set

This has everything you need, without paying a large amount for a great block set. I love that it has a carving knife & extra slots for all those other knives I like to keep handy. The steak knives are also great to have for those meat-meals. I also like the darker-wood block.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this set as a gift - I’ve never owned a set of knives with a counter block before so I don’t know how they compare to other sets but this one seems like a quality set to me- the block is sturdy and the knives have nice handles are are sharp - came with a sharpening tool too - I haven’t owned them long enough to know if they will hold up over time but like that they are dishwasher safe

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gorgeous knife set. Packaged very nicely, and I know from previous experience these knives will last me for years, still using some of my favorites from my last set, almost 20 years old that fit beautifully in the new block with the new knives.

Henckles, but nothing special

The sharpness is average but for most cut most thing ok but not with the smoothness I was expecting in a Henckel. They feel very lightweight. So much so I worry about them breaking! I would say they are fine for a college student who will use them for a few years then move to a sturdier and higher quality set.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall it seems like a very good set. The grind on the steak knives was a bit rough but a few laps with the steel on the back edge seemed to knock off the burr. I have a fair selection of other cutlery that use different kinds of metal for the blades so I have a way to compare. It will be interesting to see how this stainless holds up. I'm kind to my knives so they go years with needing nothing other than a few laps with the steel to keep a usable edge. Hope these are the same.
