Nice for home use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I worked my way though college as a line cook. Always used Henckels. That was a long time ago. I ordered these online and they were not quite what I remember. Look the same but not quite as well balance, heavy or durable. Great for home use, but I wouldn't recommend for professional daily destruction.

The perfect set for those seeking to upgrade to a quality German steel fully forged knife. Comes complete with a carving set and 8 steak knives, plus an extra slot to add an additional Henckels Classic knife of your choosing. A definite classic.

Knives are sharp but Steak knives are not durable

Nice looking set - Knives are sharp = the only drawback is that steak knives are very thin and even with care I expect the tips - which are very very narrow- will break off. Either from use, washing or placing in the knife block.
