Good starter set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The wood block set looks good on my counter. Color of wood block is little darker than pictured. The knives are weighted properly so they're balanced in my hand. Doesn't tire my hands. Knives are not heavy.. The knife edges are sharp and last a long time before needing sharpening. The 8 steak knives have the everidge, can't sharpen them when dull. Good set for beginner cooks.
Wood block still has 3 empty slots to expand the set.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven’t had the chance to use most of the knives yet, but I did a lot of research as to the best possible option at this price point and this was it. The block is gorgeous, the knives are a good weight — not too heavy which I don’t like — and they seem sharp. The shears especially seem like excellent quality. I love that it includes a small serrated knife. Very happy with my choice!
