Great sharpening concept

I wasn't sure how I felt about the look of this block set. the metal top made it seem so industrial, but when I realized the benefit of having the self sharpening, the appearance faded away. I love knowing that every time I go to cut, slice, chop, pare my knife is as ready as I am. I wish there was a way to make the slot for scissors a scissors sharpener but that's a tall order Im sure! The selection of knives in this set are just perfect for my needs and the quality is fantastic! I also like that you can buy replacement pieces but I'm sure I wont need to for a very long time

"Classic" Cutlery in Modern Block

Spanish-made Classic series is a centuries old forged steel in a new-school, efficient, self-sharpening knife block. All 5 knives are essential kitchen staples.

Great Low Maintenance knife set

I am not very good at maintaining things in the kitchen, so I was so excited to find this great set of high quality knives that stay as sharp as the first time I used them because they get sharpened every time I take them out of the knife block! I also love that each slot is labeled so that I know which knife goes where.

Great set.....always sharp

The Classic line by Henckels is great. The brand has always meant quality to me. The forged German steel combined with Spanish construction makes a great product. The blades are very sharp. The traditional three rivet handle with the full bolster give me the classic feel I am used to. The self sharpening block is great. My knives are always at their best. The slots are clearly labeled with which knife goes where. Each slot is precision engineered for each individual knife so they are always at their best. No one size fits all here.
I would recommend this to a friend!

First Proper Knife Set
