Nice upgrade!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this set as a fancy upgrade to our 5yrs old cheap set from a big box store. Very nice! So sharp, I was surprised at how easily they cut through soft veggies like tomatoes. I like the self sharpening block, so I can keep up their cutting ability.
One of the rubber feet on the wood block needs tightening, but not a problem to do myself.

Excellent set for the home cook

This is an excellent knife set for the home cook that contains the essential knives for the home. Self sharpening block is an added bonus for someone that struggles with keeping knives sharp.

This is my first nice knife set and WOW it makes a world of difference prepping. This is an excellent gift for those who are just starting to furnish their kitchen with nice appliances and cookware. One of my favorite engagement gifts :)
