Henckles International 7 Piece Knife Set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With a wide range of knives and knives sets, Henckles International line is awesome. I could not wait to receive my 7 Piece set with Self Sharpening Block. I used it immediately after I opened it and was not disappointed. The knives are all easy to handle, cut precisely and are well made. The sharpening block is really nice, and visually stunning in appearance. This is the best knives I have purchased even though it is a starter kit for me after upgrading from brands of a lower price range.. I have encountered seeing these knives in a few of my friends homes and admired them so much that I chose to order a set for myself. I find these knives to be sturdy, and have an elegant look to them. I would recommend these to anyone looking to upgrade from casual knives to a professional set of knives. The knives are streamline and easy to clean. These knives would complement any set of stainless steel silverware set. I am more than sure anyone who purchases thes knives will definitely receive compliments on an ongoing basis for their sleek design.

Handle Not As Comfortable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My knives stay very sharp and sturdy. I like that the block is self-sharpening so that it extends the life of my blades between sharpenings. However, I will say the handles took some time to get used to. Because it does not offer a curved grip, it does dig into my hands a bit

Very sharp knives!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The only criticism I have is on the plunge line (where handle meets the blade) it is sharp and unprotected. Our old set has a guard there and is a much better design.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great affordable Forged knives set

The Classic knives are a great collection if you want good forged German stainless steel knives, and at an affordable price. I like that the block self-sharpens, so I never have to worry about trying to do that myself.

Always sharp

A forged knife was important to me. I have found these to be a quality set from Henckels, for a good price. The knives included are the perfect profiles. We use the chef and santoku for most meal prep, the prep is an awesome size, the serrated is always handy for breads and tomatoes and the paring is great for small work. The sharpening block ensures they are always sharp!
