Great value for a quality set. We

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first set of high-quality kitchen cutlery we have purchased and we are very pleased with the value when compared to similar quality sets made by other companies. The knives came very sharp and are easy to keep maintained. The only thing I’m not thrilled with is that this set doesn’t appear to be full-tang, but something has to be compromised to keep the cost affordable. The one benefit to not having a full-tang is that they are very lightweight knives. Unless you’re someone who is a professional cook/chef or abused your kitchen knives, I don’t think it’s a big deal.

I thought it odd though that the knife black had three extra slots and no knives in them. The block seems to have been made for a set with more knives.

Perfect for someone who prepares a lot of food at home. The knives are lightweight and the handles fit my hands. I have a smaller set.....ordered this one for my daughter’s birthday.

Best Deal With Steak Set!

A complete set with steak knives, is nothing else more to ask for this block set. I love every single knife in this block. It feels great and function well for daily use.
These are forged knives from a single piece of solid steel, ergonomic polypropylene handle. German made special formula high carbon steel with 57 Rockwell Hardness = excellent edge.

The Four Star name means you are buying quality! No surprise this is a best-seller, as they are made with the ice-hardened process so you can count on super-sharp and stay sharp along with durability and rust free. Has every knife you could want or need - including 4 steak knives! Shears included for cutting those window-sill herbs!

This block has everything knife you need in a kitchen. Four Star knives are made from German Special Formula Steel and forged from one piece of steel so durable for a lifetime, and that's their warranty - lifetime. The knives are also ice hardened which translates to the blade starting sharp and staying sharper longer. The handles are lightweight and a nice option to the heavier handles.

Four Star Comfort

The Four Star series is popular for so many reasons but one of my favorites is the handle. It is comfortable and nonslip. Because they are forged from specially formulated steel they are corrosion resistant and have a strong bolster. Of course they are super sharp and remain that way use after use only needing to be sharpened once a year. This set includes several of the most popular knife profiles and four steak knives so it's a great choice.
