Sharp, well-balanced, high-quality knives

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 9-piece Zwilling Pro Knife Block Set was my one-stop shop for upgrading my kitchen knives. The variety of blades and sizes has proven great for customizing the right knife for the correct task. I appreciate the weight and mass of each knife; you’d need huge hands to run out of handle space, and the knives feel solid without being heavy. MVPs for regular cooking and prep tasks have been the 6-inch Utility Knife and the 4-inch Paring Knife, which cover uncomplicated day to day tasks very well. The 8-inch Bread Knife is extremely durable and hardy, and easily doubles as an efficient blade for cutting up large fruits and vegetables with hard rinds such as watermelons, pumpkins, etc. For normal vegetables I love the size of the 5.5-inch Santoku Knife. All told I feel like this is a truly complete, self-contained set of kitchen knives that will last a lifetime.
