Graduated my kitchen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love our new set 9-Pc and I decided to add a filleting knife. The knives are quality feel and control. I removed one star because of “escaping defects” / poor quality control. one pairing knife arrived off-center / bent slightly (will return under warranty). Also one knife tip had a burr which I removed with the steel.
Otherwise the look beautiful, are very sharp and feel well made.

Elegant Knives - Elegant Presentation

This comprehensive set has all that a good home cook would need to prepare the most delicious meal. The quality of the Pro line is unquestionable. The steel will hold up for a lifetime. The innovative angled bolster is easy to grip, keeping the thumb and forefinger in the correct position for maximum control.
I like arc of the chef's knife for dicing, mincing, chiffonade. The 3" paring knife fits nicely in my hand; and the 4" is there for folks who like a little more length.
The uniquely angled block is definitely for right-handers. (Get the forward facing block if you are a lefty.)

Wedding Gift

My husband and I received this set as a wedding gift. We are absolutely thrill with these knives.
The blades slightly curve which really helps to cut and chop properly. They handles have a nice grip and the bolster is shaped so that it doesn't rub up against your finger, and also lets you sharpen the entire blade with no interference.
The assortment is perfect for all of our cutting needs. I especially like having the 3" paring knife, which is a better fit for my small sized hands.
Overall, this block is just what we need as well as what we wanted.

Sharpest knives I've ever had

My sister bought me a Hinckel knife when I graduated from college; 25 years ago. I just replaced it and several others that I picked up along the way. I couldn't be more impressed. It's so nice to have a complete set of really good knives! But don't put this knife set on credit! Just get one as you can afford it. I pretty much just use the chefs knife. The rest are for my volunteer helpers, and I have to watch them because they are SHARP!

Get this knife set and you will look for something to slice. I've made roast 5 times just so I can slice up the meat, potatoes, carrots. Just a joy to work these knives. Steak knives are next.

Great block set of knives and boxed steak knives

My wife and I both cook and had various brands and levels of cutlery.
I bought a nice Chef’s Choice Sharpener that I used more often I thought I should need.
Looking over our old set we found the Henckel Twin was our best one.
The new set is everything we expected, super sharp strong edge and comfortable fit in the hand.
At some point I expect I’ll have to run them through the sharpener but I think it’ll be a lot less often.
I want to get a good cleaver for hard cutting, that should help keep this set in good shape.
