I like that it's a little larger and have made a couple of Stews this past winter. Really like the knobs as an embellishment. Very strong & cleans up beautifully.

Feel like a French Chef

I feel like a Chef when I use this pot!! I tend to use this for whole or cut up chicken dishes!! Yes, Coq au Vin!! Love that recipe. I like changing my finials.. i have the rooster and the pig. this is a worthwhile pot to have and treasure!!

Another beautifully versatile piece from Staub. Ideal for any large recipe, this cast iron will cook anything to perfection. The bright Cherry color adds a pop of color to the dinner table and the double handles make it easy to transfer from stove to oven to tabletop. Plus, the cute rooster knob will have you and everyone adoring this piece even more!

The ultimate French piece

This is the perfect cocotte for perfecting French recipes, roasting chicken, or duck. The oval shape really comes in handy for doing large pieces of meat, and the lid is nice and heavy; really helps prevent heat and moisture from escaping, creating an amazing meal every time in the coq au vin. Love the rooster knob on top too, just an extra accent to this Staub piece.

The dark blue Staub pieces line the shelves of my pantry and I love using this coq au vin for those special occasion dishes. It is ideal for so many recipes and I like showing off the adorable rooster knob on top!
