I found a terrific recipe for deep dish pizza in a cast iron skillet and my family loves it. We decided that instead of it being a side dish, we'd prefer it become the main course so I needed to get another skillet. Thought (for a fast second) about getting a cheaper version but decided to stay with Staub. It was the right call, now we have two 10" deep dishes pleanty for us to enjoy. The blue is my go to color!

The pouring spouts on these were genius! It makes the fat removal so easy. I can cook just about anything in this pan and it works so great! The even cooking is stunning, not to mention the colors themselves are so nice. Because it is enameled, I do not have to worry about seasoning either, which is great!

Nothing cooks better than cast iron

That is especially true for frying chicken or any food that needs a super hot heat and a pan that won't cool down when cooking. That's why this cast iron fry pan is so perfect. It browns beautifully and foods don't tend to stick if you preheat and cook properly. (Don't try to turn your meat too soon!) I love making corn bread in it also; you get a nice crispy outside and cooked thorough without overdoing. It doesn't require seasoning so I can wash it with soap and water.

Best Grilled Cheese!

I just finished making grilled cheese sandwiches in this pan and had to write a review. This handy little pan heats up quickly and evenly for the perfectly toasted sandwich. It is also great for eggs and browning meat. Clean up is almost as if it is non stick due to Staub's matte black interior coating. No worries scrubbing baked on bits from the enamel either as it holds up perfectly.

Bacon anyone?

I use this pan all the time but my favorite thing to cook in it is bacon either on the stove top or in the oven. Because it's cast iron it cooks evenly and browns perfectly not mater what surface you are using it on.
Try a shallow loaf of bread or a spatchcocked chicken in it, you will love the results!

This is an all-around pan for breakfast, lunch & dinners! Eggs, fried or hash brown potatoes, grilled cheese variations, eggplant parmesan, salmon or turkey burgers, and much more! No limits on what you can do with this. Also love the side spouts.

This cast iron stands out for having an extra handle for more control when transfering your delicious food to your beautiful staub cast iron plate and keep it warm. That spout is so useful to keep those juice in the right place. Plus this is a fun color to have, blue it is!
