Skillet Chocolate Cookie

I use this to make my husband's favorite dessert, Skillet Chocolate Chip Cookie with homemade ice cream. I make the cookie dough the night ahead, and then I'm ready to go. All I need to do is preheat the oven to 425 degrees, pat the dough into the pan, cook 25 minutes, and the reward is the best skillet cookie on earth. The dark enamel interior makes for a perfectly browned, crispy cookie. Never sticks, and looks beautiful on the table. Works great for savory dishes too, but who doesn't love a good chocolate chip cookie.

Easy to clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like Staub’s design of a black interior. It’s easy for clean up. I use to have a Le Creuset but the white was easily stained with sauces. The skillet is perfect. Just wish it came with a lid.

Makes a Difference!

If you love a steak as much as I do, this pan is a must! Cast iron is the only way to get the heat you need to get that beautiful crust and sear that locks in all those juices. The dark interior really helps develop the sear, which is the difference between a good steak and a great steak. Perfect size and love the spouts on the sides which are extremely useful when pouring pan sauces.
