Perfect for frying and always even heat. I use it to braise and sear chicken breasts and burgers.

Clean, white enameled exterior holds up. Black enamel over cast iron helps with consistency and cleaning. Nearly drip-proof pouring spouts are a great touch.

I have bought this for every member of my family including myself. You just need a great cast iron skillet. like that this needs no seasoning and the black enamel finish prevents sticking and is easy to clean. Great skillet that will last for years!

Awful coating avoid at all costs

This coating is absolutely awful. After 3 uses, there are brown stains across the entirety of the pan. Mind you, it was cared for under all instructions, washed properly, dried properly after each use. This issue mostly presented itself on the tab of the frying pan and on the bottom white enameled coating. The black food side is completely fine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Staub cast iron can be cleaned by hand washing with soapy water and/or soaking the Pan. Staub is Dishwasher safe, hand washing is recommended.
Despite best efforts, stains can linger. Baking soda serves as a mild abrasive, helping to lift stains without damaging the enamel. We have more method’s on Mastering the Art of Cleaning Your Staub Cast Iron.
