I just got into the sous vide method of cooking. I was told a Staub cast iron pan would be the perfect skillet to use finish off my meats, pork and chicken once they were cooked to satisfaction using the sous vide. The dark interior of the cast iron is excellent for putting a crusted, carmelized finish to a steak, pork chop or piece of chicken. Just a couple minutes on each side in this hot skillet does the trick.

Looking for a fry pan that would accommodate two nice sized steaks. Love the 12 inch pan for this. The dark interior is great for getting a really nice sear. The sides are high enough to make a nice pan sauce, and the pouring sides are awesome.
This pan can really withstand heat. I often start thicker cuts on the stove top and finish in the oven. Cleans beautifully and looks as good as they day I purchased.

Who doesn't love a cast iron skillet, a must for a girl raised in the South. No need to season this pan, the enamel coating prevents rusting, and keeps the pan looking nice and new.
Perfect for crispy fried chicken, potatoes, and and greens on top of the stove, and bakes great cornbread in the oven. Extremely versatile, this is my go to pan, and I use it several times a week. Also great for camping and outdoor barbeque.
