Small footprint, but large capacity

This large capacity food processor has a deceivingly small footprint, and is super simple to use. When looking for a food processor, you really only need two speed settings and pulse action. My old food processor was not only less than half the capacity of this, but also had multiple preset speed settings which I very rarely used.
In addition to size and operation, the single piece sealed work-bowl keeps all potential messes inside the unit. I made many a mess when a liquid based sauce spilled over the blade unit leaking out the middle shaft of my old processor.
For a GE brand appliance, the price of this little unit cannot be beat either. Couldn't recommend this more!

GE food processor

High quality material has been made of. Easy way to lock the cup cover to the cup. Blades are sharp and smooth food perfectly. Stick to the counter top surface very well while running. Easy to clean.

Great product, would recommend

I have wanted a food processor for a long time. This is the perfect size with the right features for what I need. Whether chopping / slicing vegetables or using to prep for baking it has worked wonderfully and easy to clean.

No instructions food opening too small.

First, there are no instructions for use. There is no explanation as to what the differences are between the two disks. It does not explain how to assemble the attachments.
Second, still having a post in the middle makes it difficult to scrape clean.
Third, having a larger bowl does not allow for larger quantities to be chopped evenly the way it should, you need to still do multiple small batches.
Fourth, the food opening is not large enough even for a whole potato let alone anything bigger to slice. Although it does have a smaller whole for smaller items, that hole too is not of much benefit and often just gets in the way.

Great food processor!

I read so many reviews about various food processors and it was a hard decision. I chose GE, particularly, because it was designed by USA engineers. It does a great job. I use it for grating potatoes, cheese, and making dip. It works perfect for my needs.

Worth the money!

My last food processor came apart while I was shredding cheese leaving plastic pieces in the cheese. This food processor is great and comes with a fine and medium blade which allows you to slice or shred two different sizes. So far I love it!
