I received this GE 12-cup food processor to try out and review. I used each blade by shredding some cheese and it worked great. I like to freeze my cheese for 15 minutes before shredding to help it shred evenly. I used the chopper blade when I chopped some nuts to make banana bread, then I used the same blade to mix a batch of banana bread. It didn't take much to quickly mix up the batter. I like the clear plastic bowl so I can see easily what I am doing while mixing. I was able to put everything in dishwasher for easy cleanup. It's a great looking machine to boot, if I had room, I would leave it out on my countertop.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Replacement Food Processor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We picked this up to replace another brand we had that the overly complicated interlock mechanism failed on.
This one has no complicated interlock and so far works pretty well.
First use was for guacamole and it came out great.
I would say if anything maybe the instructions on setting up the blades could have been a little better but that had nothing to do with the processor's operation which has been very adequate.

Very user friendly

I haven’t used it enough to rate every feature but it’s very easy to put together and use for basic chopping. There’s no big clunky chute on top that just gets in the way like some others. It’s very light weight which makes it easy to handle and clean. I’m just hoping it will hold up to heavy mixing and chopping because it is a light weight material. That’s why I didn’t give 5 stars right now. If it can handle the heavier usage I will absolutely love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've owned 3 food processors before & this one is the best by far. It has many different functions & it's simple to use. Has low, high, & pulse speeds. Easy to clean and dish washer safe. The base has rubber feet so it doesn't slide on me while I'm running it. This processor will knead dough, slice, chop, puree, grate, shred, & French fry cut.
I would recommend getting the accessories kit along with this food processor to maximize all of it's capabilities. A great safety feature is that this processor will automatically shut off to prevent it from overeating. Love this food processor.

Slicing and shredding happens quickly with uniform results. Perfect for stir frying. Easy to clean. Has low, high and pulse settings. Large enough for most jobs. I have found so many uses for this in my daily meals.

Easy to wash

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good food starts with good preparation and if that preparation is easy than it taste better just like restaurants. Making veggie sandwich is now much comfortable for me as I get precise cut in minutes. I made cookie dough for my daughters to try baking and was quite okay. I wish the chute would've been bit more wider as I don't need to pre-cut certain big veggies. But the extra dripping hole in chute makes it more comfortable while making dough, can be also used to separate egg yolk.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This food processor is easy to assemble and operate. It can Slice, Shread and Puree most fruits, vegetables, cheeses, etc. fairly easily. It's a little noisy but hey... it's a food processor so I'd expect that. It has protection safety features that prevent it from operating if it's not totally latched together properly. It comes with 1 Pureeing attachment and 2 Slicing/Shreading attachments. All in all, it does the job it was designed to do effortlessly and efficiently. The only drawback I could see was it should have a pouring spout built into the food reservoir for dispensing puree'd foods.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The food processor bowl says it holds 10 cups, so not sure why it is described as 12 cups, but no matter, it's plenty large for anything I would ever use it for. I did use this for shredding cheese and chopping vegetables and it worked great, nice sharp blade. Easy to use with the large cute opening. I like that the shredding blades are reversible so I don't have to store so many blades. This has plenty of power for anything you need to chop, shred, or dice. I found that freezing the cheese for 15 minutes before shredding it made it much easier to shred. All in all, this does everything my old food processor did and it's a keeper.
