Disappointed.

Purchased in May at Apple Store Carlsbad. Suddenly no longer charges eith phone or watch. Tried different outlets. My husband has this same Carger. His is still working

Waste of money

Bought this with my iPhone 7 and Apple Watch 3. I still have the Series 3 but upgraded to An Xr. It’s not the incompatibility of the Xr I’m worried about, it’s the complete failure of the Apple Watch charger. The magnet still works, but no charge to the watch. Other people are having similar issues as well on online forums. Save your money.

As much as we strived to make our devices future-proof, our Belkin PowerHouse and Valet docks came to market well before the new iPhones. With the recent testing, the iOS update of 12.1 for the iPhone XS, XS Max, and XR allows these phones to charge on the F8J200 and F8J183 but at a reduced rate.
We recommend updating your OS to the latest version or look into our upcoming docks that will come out before the year ends. For further concerns, feel free to email us at BelkinCares@belkin.com.

Extremely disappointed with lack of compatability

Had this dock under a year and upon the release of the Xs found that it is no longer compatible. Confused how Belkin could use such proprietary technology that it is not somewhat future proof when cheaper much less expensive docks and cables have no issue. I understand technology changes but Apple did not indicate any significant updates to charging in this most recent iteration. For the price of a new dock from Belkin I'm not sure I trust that I won't run in to the same issue next year, this isn't something that should be an annual purchase.

We understand where you're coming from. The incompatibility of our Valet and Powerhouse Charging Dock was just a momentary setback and our Engineering Team was able to resolve the issue. You just need to make sure that the iOS of your new iPhone device is up to date (12.1) and once it is updated, your phone should work and charge again with the dock. My husband bought this as a Christmas gift. I was always having to use 2 different cords in 2 different rooms to charge my phone and watch. Now my charger sits on my bedside table and I can charge both my phone and watch at the same time. Everything is ready to go in the morning, what a great way to start the day!
This charger is simply amazing! The design and easy use are perfect. I highly recommend it. We have purchased 3 of these awesome chargers for our apple products.
Very stylish design, perfect match to Apple's sleek and streamline shape. The adjustable lightning port allows for flawless connection and support for my Iphone 7s. The extended charging disk for my Apple 4 watch provides ease of charging connection and visible use if needed. Great design and will accent desk or nightstand.

Great while it worked

Bought it the 9th and it stopped charging through the lightning charger today. Watch dock still works

I love this charger. It's well worth money given it looks good, is sturdy and heavy, and is easy to connect my phone and watch to - especially in the dark. I love that I now have one (long) cord for a charger that can handle my phone and watch!
