All around great product

I was looking for a purifier that firstly had to be good at filtering air... Check! Now the intangibles that are hard to combine: quiet, able to disappear into the room and be a connected smart appliance. This one does it all and does everything well. I wholeheartedly recommend this unit!

I live in Colorado on the front range. It has helped to clear the smoke in the air in my condo from the wildfires.
This was an expensive but much needed purchase for me. It does a great job with purifying the air in my home. Several people have expressed interest in it as well as obtained information from me about purchasing. Wise investment!
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, Durable

Great purifier when it works

This thing has a constant problem with wifi, it's always disconnected from my wifi and Smartthings hub. I have to go near the thing and unplug it and plug it back in just to turn it on "remotely" with my Smarthings app. WAY over priced with this kind of shady wifi connection!!! This thing is worth $200 at best and only if you don't mind the hassles of unplugging and plugging it in. I've done this at least 6 times since my purchase in January - it's April now only 4 months in!! It's in severe need of a firmware update for this problem and there's no "manual" way to do this... thanks for wasting my money Samsung! Just to add, Samsung has decided to discontinue manufacturing of the Smarthings Hub... and that's the only way to remotely turn this thing on without getting up and hitting a button which you can barely read. The color contrast between the button labels is illegible and you have to get close with glasses on just to see what to press, and this is amplified because I cannot use my Smarthings App due to the constant wifi disconnects! They're barely lit up and barely exposed when OFF (if at all)... bad design with the buttons.
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Whisper Quiet and Smart to boot

have it integrated to my smartthings hub, and automated to start/stop based on time and presence.
set to auto, is controlled based on the air quality readings that the air purifier gets. under most conditions, it is whisper quiet . when something is detected (when cooking, for example), it will kick into gear and run as fast as it deems needed .
like that i can connect 2 of them together in a tower configuration - need only one power cord, and can direct the air flow to different parts of the room for each individual purifier.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Big Risk: Only works for 6 Months to a year

for the past 8 weeks i've been trying to get replacement air filters. they are not to be found anywhere and samsung has not done anything to help me identify where i can purchase them or when they will produce them if they produce them.
this is an expensive air filter which i was happy with until i needed to replace it's filter at the 6+ month mark given my allergies.
since they don't have replacement parts and won't honor the warranty you on your own with this very stylish piece of metal can't be operated given the lack of replacement parts and consumables.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
