I have had this fan for about two weeks now am surprised how often I find myself using it. I have used it while sitting on my back deck, while having dinner with the family at our outdoor table and even had it going while I was cutting up a tree in my back yard. Having the three speeds is a big deal because while most of the time the slowest speed is plenty as soon as a little breeze picks up having those higher speeds helps to keep the mist flowing. The other day I actually put it on my deck facing out on the back hard while we were practicing football. With the fan rotating on high and no breeze it did a great job keeping the heat down. At first I thought maybe the price was a little steep but when you think of it like an outdoor air conditioner it is actually very well priced. If I was to nitpick for a con the only thing would be the connection to the base. It tends to lean a very slight bit forward. It's not very noticeable but what's a review without finding something negative. All in all I would highly recommend this fan.

Provides Much Needed relief from Cali heat

I was given the opportunity to test the Frigidaire Outdoor Misting Fan and Pedestal Fan Combination and it couldn't have come at a better time. We are experiencing a heatwave and hitting temps well above 100. We go outside and enjoy time on our deck a lot and with the heat, it had become nearly impossible. The misting fan instantly lowered the temperature by 20 or more degrees instantly. I was surprised at how much and how far the reach was of the mist. It really made our time more enjoyable out on our deck. We were able to spend more time outside and have the air conditioner on as much in the house. Something else I noticed is our potted plants on the deck also really perked up too. They are really benefitted from the misting they are getting too. The dry heat we get here in California is hard on plants during a heatwave and we usually lose some plants. But looks like we may save most this year. Overall we are loving the Frigidaire Outdoor Misting Fan and Pedestal Fan Combination however I do wish the power cord was longer but I can live with that being the only complaint. If you're looking for a way to cool off this summer then I would recommend the Frigidaire Outdoor Misting Fan and Pedestal Fan Combination.

Perfect for the summer

Purchased this fan recently and it's the perfect addition to our backyard as our toddler plays in her kiddie pool. Also helps keep our golden retriever cool in the humid, Hotlanta summer weather. Had some issues with it, and Newair was quick to respond and is replacing it for me. Definitely recommend!

Worth every penny!

I have had this fan for about two weeks now am surprised how often I find myself using it.
