Envy of the neighbors!

The Frigidaire Outdoor Misting Fan is the perfect solution to stay cool in the heat. I don't know who likes it better- the kids or adults! I do know that the neighbors are all jealous and want it for their yards too. My favorite feature is the ability to use at as either a regular oscillating fan or a misting fan. The fan has three different speeds and not only does it keep us cool, but it also keeps the mosquitoes away with the breeze. It easily covers the entire area of our outdoor patio. The mister conveniently attaches to a garden hose- no messy water tanks to deal with.
And I really appreciated the ease of set up- from start to finish under 10 minutes. Instructions were clear and easy to understand. It was obvious during set up that the fan is both durable and made from quality materials. The base is sturdy and solid- no worries about tip overs. Overall, I give this a double thumbs up. It used to be you would only find these at parks- so grateful to now have access at home!

Best way to stay cool outdoors

This outdoor mister fan is way better then any I have ever owned! I love that it acts as a oscillating fan as well as the misting fan! It will cool a huge area so it’s great for big backyards!
It was easy to set up right out of the box and instructions were easy to understand. It’s easy to take apart to put in the trunk and bring it to a friends!
Perfect for summer nights as well- turn the mister off and use it as a fan to deter mosquitos!

Worth every penny!

I have had this fan for about two weeks now am surprised how often I find myself using it. I have used it while sitting on my back deck, while having dinner with the family at our outdoor table and even had it going while I was cutting up a tree in my back yard. Having the three speeds is a big deal because while most of the time the slowest speed is plenty as soon as a little breeze picks up having those higher speeds helps to keep the mist flowing.
The other day I actually put it on my deck facing out on the back hard while we were practicing football. With the fan rotating on high and no breeze it did a great job keeping the heat down.
At first I thought maybe the price was a little steep but when you think of it like an outdoor air conditioner it is actually very well priced.
If I was to nitpick for a con the only thing would be the connection to the base. It tends to lean a very slight bit forward. It's not very noticeable but what's a review without finding something negative.
All in all I would highly recommend this fan.

Misty fan

I Received my amazing misting fan.I use it in the house.I had my Air conditioner set on 69 within six minutes my newair fan brought the temperatures down in my home to 64 degrees.I was shocked it brought my temperature down so quickly and so cold.I usually avoid my electric bill. Now I'm looking forward to seeing how much money it saves me.I put it on ocosolating so it covers my whole Loving room .I love that it reaches such a long space.I love that it it heavy and will not fall over.I took it out on my patio while I was tanning I had it misting on me which is great since I always mist water on me while I'm tanning.it mists out of theveryone.thsnk three water jets.This is by far the best fan and only misting fan that I know of.I am very pleased to be one to get to try this wonderful misting fan.#Newairusa

Best to beat the heat waves !

I am totally in love with this indoor outdoor misting fan especially with the Heatwave that we have right now in Los Angeles this is the best thing ever it has three speeds and it really covers a huge area trust me my living room is humongous and yet so refreshing I also put it on my patio and hook it up to the hose and it makes an amazing Mist so refreshing best thing ever!!! My son love blowing bubbles with it too

Provides Much Needed relief from Cali heat

I was given the opportunity to test the Frigidaire Outdoor Misting Fan and Pedestal Fan Combination and it couldn't have come at a better time. We are experiencing a heatwave and hitting temps well above 100. We go outside and enjoy time on our deck a lot and with the heat, it had become nearly impossible. The misting fan instantly lowered the temperature by 20 or more degrees instantly. I was surprised at how much and how far the reach was of the mist. It really made our time more enjoyable out on our deck. We were able to spend more time outside and have the air conditioner on as much in the house. Something else I noticed is our potted plants on the deck also really perked up too. They are really benefitted from the misting they are getting too. The dry heat we get here in California is hard on plants during a heatwave and we usually lose some plants. But looks like we may save most this year. Overall we are loving the Frigidaire Outdoor Misting Fan and Pedestal Fan Combination however I do wish the power cord was longer but I can live with that being the only complaint. If you're looking for a way to cool off this summer then I would recommend the Frigidaire Outdoor Misting Fan and Pedestal Fan Combination.

What a Great Fan!

When I received this fan I was truly skeptical about the misting capabilities. Boy, was I wrong! What an awesome addition to my outdoor setup.
Packaging: Opening the box It was packaged OK, although, I expected more coming from a $140 fan. There was little Styrofoam and most of the packaging itself was made from cardboard. The cardboard is more environmentally friendly which I admire. While the packaging isn't crazy good, it gets the job done and does ok.
Construction: The next task at hand was building the unit. It was extremely easy. You first build the base and attach it to the motor and boom you have your very own misting fan. Easy, simple, and instructions were clear. No complaints.
Quality: Most of the parts are made from metal and high quality plastics. The fan is sturdy and well built. There is no feeling of "cheap" whatsoever which is great. My only complaint is the bracket that connects to your hose could be made out of metal instead of plastic. The concern here is that the threads could be worn out after lots of use. Though that's very minor. Overall this fan isn't going to break on you and will last you a long time.
Testing and Use: When I powered up the fan I was blown away with the power that this unit has. Plenty of power and your never going to think you need more air. It works great. The misting is my favorite part of all. You can adjust the amount of flow of water and air to adapt to your conditions and comfort ability.
Overall if your looking for the next big hit at a party, or just looking for something to cool you off in the summer this fan is for you. You won't have any regrets using this fan. For the price, this fan is one of the best deals on the market.
