I bought this unit to save money on my electric bill. The cooler is perfect for using during these hot summer months and it's pennies to operate. I keep my unit on all day and it provides me cool air and helps with my allergies. The air is always fresh because it provides moisture during those dry hot days we have in summer. I would recommend this unit to everyone who lives in a hot dry climate area.
