NEWAIR portable AC stinks! Fridgedaire better

I bought NewAir AC for 400.00 which leaks and ruined my carpeting creating MOLD This does not LEAK like other NewAir AC portable units I spent 400$ on New Air AC it was garbage and had to hire a mild remediation So this unit used less electricity isn't as cool but a much better Manufacturer Fridgedaire is a household name and they stand by excellence in their products before they sell them so I'd say excellent choice instead the waste of money on NEWAIR AC portable units , the portable unit cost me a mold remediation at $650.00 the landlord is making me pay for new carpet so yes it's not an ac but it doesn't ruin my carpeting

Works wonderfully to cool my office with no dampness or musty smell (one window 1/3 open). Love the variable speeds and settings. Easy to fill. I add a little bit of product for algae and scale control. One full tank lasted almost three days of using it just 4-6 hrs per day. Lightweight. Small footprint. Quiet.

Pump not strong enough

I left the unit going for hours, hoping it would cool down my small travel trailer. When I removed the cover to the pad found 1/3 of pad completely dry. Removed pad and noticed only 4 of the 6 water spouts actually had water coming out of them--and they weren't clogged (just seemed the pump did not have enough power to have strong enough water pressure). If I put my fingers over the first 2, water came out of the ones that were not dripping previously. So it gets 2 stars for being a good fan. But no stars for working as an evaporative cooler (humidity was 11 percent the day I tried to use). I unfortunately threw away the box--so nearly $200 is going in the land fill.

Bought this to cool my room as our Swamp Cooler of 40 years died. It could have a stronger fan on it as it works hard on 100 degree day.
