Very cool air

I absolutely love how amazing this air cooler and fan is. The timer function is an added benefit. I use this feature when I'm getting my son's ready for school. They run around a lot, as do I, getting ready in a hurry.
The remote is easy to use and very convenient. I love the different air modes too. My favorite is the breeze mode. The nighttime mode is also a great one. It fluctuates between all of the fan speeds.
The swing setting is a great way to circulate the cooler air in a hurry. Even just using the fan option without the air cooler is perfect in the spring. It works really well and is nice and cool.
The unit is light weight and super easy to move from room to room. Even my 7 year old son can move it. I love this! In the past I've had to purchase multiple units because moving from room to room was such a hassle. That it's not an issue with this.
All in all this quickly became an awesome air cooler/fan for my family. It's worth the investment for such a high quality item. I'm very satisfied with this product and recommend highly.

A small unit packed with power is how I can best describe the Frigidaire Portable Evaporative Cooler! SO easy to set up right out of the box and incredibly light weight making it very easy to wheel into any room. The 1.8 gallon tank, located at the back of the unit, holds a good volume of water. A great perk not having the need to keep refilling it. Once turned on, this machine packs a nice push of immediately refreshing air to keep you cool! I liked the added addition of two cool packs to keep the water in the tank an icy cold temp. An easy digital display to operate the unit. Not only does this unit work as an Evaporative Cooler, but also works without water as a powerful 4 speed fan. Having a remote is also a wonderful perk. A nice slot on top of the unit holds the remote. Love that. When I have the fan in my room at night I can easily turn it down without getting out of bed. The sleep mode keeps the noise level down really well. Another option I like is setting the timer to shut off on it's own! The oscillating feature is another valuable option when I want the whole room cooler, rather than just blowing directly on me. A lovely design as well. I live in the incredibly hot, dry Arizona desert and was searching for an energy efficient way to have a room filled with continuously cool air. I was looking for ways to save money by not having the air conditioner on all the time or on as high. This unit is, without a doubt, exactly what I was seeking! An excellent quality Evaporative cooler/fan combo at a great price! I highly recommend you consider this unit!

My family and I spend a great deal of time traveling with work, but our primary residence is in the blistering heat of the Arizona desert. This was the original reason I was in desperate need of an evaporative cooler. I wanted something that could add some moisture to the air, but also circulate the air. This was the perfect fit. The day I received it, I immediately set it up to see how it would work, even though it wasn't really hot outside. Not only did it manage to rapidly cool down a room significantly larger then the 250sqft it is intended for, it also left my skin feeling significantly less dry. This was a perk I had not anticipated but was very welcome. I moved it around my house, trying it out in different areas, even in my garage. It was effortless to relocate, even with the large capacity tank full. It was at this point I realized that this would be the perfect item to take on the road. There is nothing worse then ending up in a place like Texas, in a house built a 100 years ago, with zero A/C in the dead of summer. But honestly, it isn't something I feel I will worry about again. This was so effective, easy and extremely lightweight. I'd recommend it to anyone without hesitation. It is also super easy and straight forward to use. The buttons are bright, writing is very clear and simple to figure out what they do without even needing to check the book every time you want to change it like some other machines. I am just all around, really happy and impressed, so was my toddler, who already taught himself how to turn the fan on! It is the perfect solution to hot weather and dry air, and best of all at a reasonable price.

Amazing product!

I have been looking for a great way to cool off in the summer, as it gets very hot here in Central California. This is the perfect product because it is both a fan, and has a cooling option that makes the air extra cool! I love that this has the cooling option, easy touch controls, a remote, and that it is very quiet. I don’t like the sound of loud fans, and this one is so quiet and still very efficient. I highlighted recommended this product!!
