Beatles Fun

I am enjoying making this set. However, I suggest numbering the bags to correspond to the legend. I transferred all my dots to numbered zip locked bags. The cellophane bags tear easily and even after I numbered them the transfer to zip lock bags made managing the build easier. I was so glad to have a good eye for color because if I were color blind this would be a disaster.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fun

I got this to make a Ringo picture. I had fun putting it together. It's rewarding putting it together and seeing your progress. I didn't listen to the podcast while building it so no comment on that. Numbered bags would have been helpful but I just labeled them myself as a workaround.

A bit boring

While the end product is pretty cool, I have to say, this is the first lego project that I really found so boring that I couldn't wait to be finished with the first one. I bought 4, ended up selling the other 3 sets because I had no interest in doing another one. I absolutely love legos but this just was not fun at all, it was more of a chore.

I have purchased many way more expensive sets. This is the 1st one I was disappointed with. Not worth the money at all. Also my fault for not reading full description of only being able to do 1 portrait at a time. Must dissemble to do another.

I too thought that all four Beatles were to be built. I didn’t look at any other mosaic portrait, so didn’t understand the possibility that it was only one of four that can be built. When I went back to order additional, of course they are now out of stock. I would much rather have seen these sold separately, one for each band member. Then I would have ordered what I wanted, which was all four Beatles.

All the marketing surrounding this product shows all four Beatles, yet you are only able to build one at a time. This is highly confusing as when ordering, it only mentions that you can build one at a time once in the description. Beware of this before you purchase!!!!! I planned to have all four displayed but it is not worth it to buy four separate sets.
