Disappointing

I like the set and the build process. However the mini figure selection was pitiful. There was nothing exclusive. At the very least LEGO could have included a scene accurate Obi Wan. I also think not including a Phase 2 Cody was a missed opportunity.

Minifigures are cool but price not so much

The ship is pretty cool to build and the minifigures are good as well. But the price to pay for this is too high in my opinion. However the set is still very cool.

Awesome build, Horrible figures and price is worse

I gave this rating because of the build, it’s very good but then there’s a slight issue with the figs, sure it’s nice to get a airborne trooper but faze two Cody would have fit much better. Then Lego got lazy with Obi-Wan, they just reused it from Mustafar. The price it a huge issue and that is why most people didn’t buy this. So overall, this is not worth saving for awhile just to buy this.

Beautiful but flawed

This is a fantastic set that was enjoyable to build. It’s beautiful to hold and display. That said, I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone to purchase, as it is egregiously overpriced. Second, the mini-figs are poorly conceived and completely out of context with Episode 3. Why on earth would the Mustafar mini-fig be added when that occurs later in the movie?! That’s really Lazy, Lego! This community wants a Phase 2 Cody!! This would have been the perfect set for him. Seriously, TLG. Why are you ignoring this plea? Instead we get a Clone Bomb Squad figure?

Fun Build!

Was a fun, albeit short, build for me! Not overly challenging, but very enjoyable. I love Grievous and his 'iconic' ship, but the 212th Airborne Trooper was cool too.

High price... but I get why

As a many, many, so very many reviewers have said, this set is overpriced. But only if piece count vs cost is the only thing you look at. I dont look at a DOTS set and see the high piece count vs cost as a great deal... This is a great set with an awesome design to it. After building it I would say it is almost worth the price lego has on it, as it has a lot of big & specialty pieces to it... i got one with a nearly destroyed box and paid less. This set is quite stout & sturdy when completed. It has two clever storage areas for General Grievous' light sabers while he is awkwardly in the cockpit. The center of the ship also has a hollow area I put all the extra pieces in, I think big sets should all have this. Overall great ship, Grievous is a neat minifig but the other two are nothing special. My biggest drawback is the very thin 'landing gear' tail. It needs to be wider and not rotate so easily. For LEGO designers- For all instructions I think the spot that shows which new pieces are added for next step & how many, should show them in the order that they should be put on the build, from left to right . Most seem right to left.
