[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my microwave a few weeks ago. I am still amazed at all it can do. I was able to try out the voice command, I love it. I was playing around with it and my son was like, so now just about everything in your home is going to be SMART, my response, YES, is there a problem. I tried some fries with the slim fry and was amazed again. I did not think my fries would be this crispy. Using this features is really great for me because it allows me to have fried foods without the mess of oil, on my fingers or in the pan, and they are healthier. It also, keeps the food moist on the inside. I purchased some frozen grilled vegetable, I would normally put on the grill in the pan provided, this time I tried the convection part for this. It heats my food from the outside in and its uniform. Pizza, I preheated the microwave and put the pizza on the rack, OMG it was sooo good. I have to say I love this microwave, it makes life easier, cooks healthier foods and does it quick. I look forward to more awesome dishes. I still have lots of foods to try, but I’m confident there won’t be any issues with the quality of the food, just operator error.

Love my Smart microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i love that my microwave is connected to the smart things app. there are so many neat settings to use as compared to your standard. i wish it came with a flashing piece to cover the microwave and cabinet. if you are cooking something a long time the steam does get on your cabinets so you will have to make sure your paying attention to condensation. i love the sleek modern design but it is not fingerprint resistant. we love the bright white light we use as a night light. we have been able to slim fry some fries without oil and it has been great. the convection cook has helped our food to be warmed up evenly. being able to quickly and evenly thaw better when baking has also been helpful.

Don't expect much from convection option

i was looking for a convection oven that will mount over the stove . apparently they don't make one, so this was the closest thing to it.
here are my biggest gripes:
1) speed fry function is fairly useless because it only has pre-programmed pre-sets.
2) not intuitive - popcorn, cookie, slim fry, autocook, defrost, microwave, convection bake / roast, speed bake / roast, grill, keep warm modes. some modes initiate with ‘ok’ others with ‘start.’ no idea what the difference is between convection bake / roast mode and speed bake / roast mode.
3) some modes, like speed bake or convection bake, if you open the oven to flip food, cook time cancels.
4) does not brown well. roasted cauliflower took nearly 35 minutes to brown - by then, it was cauliflower jerky.

Hey, thanks for leaving this feedback with us. We hear where you are coming from and I can see how the cooking function can be unclear. The main difference is the fan performance during the cooking. While in Convection Bake/Roast; The fan will circulate at high speeds to move the heat evenly to your food. You can find more information on this on pages 51 and 52 in your user manual in the link below. ^Pat

Love my smart microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that my microwave is connected to the smart things app. We are still getting adjusted to the microwave but love that we are being alerted on our phones and can even set the time and temperature from our phones. There are so many neat settings to use as compared to your standard. I wish it came with a flashing piece to cover the microwave and cabinet. We love our new microwave!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is by far the best microwave we have ever used! It is simply stunning. The stainless steel look finish is gorgeous and looks great above the Samsung range. The possibilities are endless with this microwave! It had preprogrammed settings to cook various kinds of food at the perfect temperature and time. One of our favorite features is the Slim Fry setting. It has Samsungs Smart Control capability which we absolutely love! It is slightly heavier than our older unit, but was still easy to mount and install. Setting it up with Samsungs Smart App was a breeze as well. It only took a few moments to get it linked up with the wifi. The greatest part about having all of our Samsung appliances linked together, is when the gas range turns on, the fan for the microwave automatically turns on as well. This is a great feature that our old and outdated microwave could never do! We really like this microwave because of it's size and versatility. We are very happy with our purchase and you will be too!

Top of the line smart microwave!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love our new smart microwave! It is the most easy to use microwave have ever owned. The simple but elegant design is gorgeous. The microwave is stainless steel and fingerprint resistant, which makes cleaning very easy. It has limitless possibilities. We have only owned it for a few weeks now, but are looking forward to utilizing all of its features. It has preprogrammed settings to cook various kinds of food at the perfect temperature and time. We love the Slim Fry setting. This allows up to have the tastiness and texture of fried foods without all the hassle and mess of actually having to deep dry them! We downloaded the Samsung Smart Appliance app and connected the microwave to it with ease. Our kitchen just got a serious upgrade! The light underneath the unit shines bright and beautiful. We use it as a nightlight to keep the kitchen slightly lit throughout the night. We really like this microwave and couldn't be happier! This unit stands alone from others on the market because of it's size and versatility. This microwave has plenty of power, rated at 1000 watts. It even has a power saving mode, which allows you to save energy when it is not in use. This is a true 10/10 across the board from us! We love it!

Smart Microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We decided to upgrade our previous Samsung Microwave and what an improvement with the features. We chose the black stainless finish which is so smooth and elegant looking. An added feature with this finish is that it's fingerprint resistant. They keypad is a soft touch and doesn't need much of any pressure to select your settings. The display is a nice lit up blue color that matches our Samsung stove. The under lighting is a nice bright white that allows me to see what I'm cooking on the stove. The exhaust fan is amazing and has three settings which is powerful and not as loud. This microwave has convection cooking built in and we have been able to bake, roast, and broil meals. One of the major features we like is the slim fry option - abling us to make french fries for our daughter in the microwave. It comes out nice and crispy and she loves it! Being that this is a smart microwave it has smart connectivity where I can control and monitor the microwave from the smart things app. This is a great feature as I can put my food to heat up and go do something else in the mean time and then I get a notification on my watch or phone when the cook time is over.

More than a microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When it comes to Samsung - as always the style is very modern. It fits well with other samsung appliances especially the range. The led lights are bright and give more than enough light for the cooking you do on your range under this microwave. There are much more options available than in regular microwave. The slim fry option is great if you want to get fries fast. They come out delicious and crispy. It also has a convection option - really nice to have in a microwave - great if you want to bake something smaller or for bigger cooking, you have an extra baking space if your oven range is already full. I love the extra racks that you can use for different products. There is a lot of space inside as well - you can fit in a whole chicken inside. The cooking guide list which shows after you open the doors comes in really handy. For those who want the vent to go outside there is an option for that. Smart connectivity is great. You can pair this with a Samsung range and control it from your phone, even by your voice! Fingerprint resistant stainless steel is awesome - really easy to keep it clean. Overall a great product.
