Terrible install directions. No use directions. Smells like burning rubber. Pretty sure its about to break or burn hoise down

Keypad not illuminated

I like this unit although it is a little difficult to learn how the functions work. But the biggest drawback is with the control panel itself. The time display is so bright, I have to shield my eyes to see the keypad; however if the keypad were back lighted this might not be a problem.

Lasted under 2 years. A microwave at this price point should last a while without issues and if it breaks samsung should stand behind there product for more than 1 year.

recommended not to get Samsung

I bought this about 3 1/2 - 4 years ago and the door latch is now broken. Local repair people tell me they either don't work on Samsung because it's so long and so hard to get repair parts, and I will have to replace the whole door, so getting a new microwave will be cheaper. I will get a new microwave and it definitely won't be Samsung, nor will any of the other appliances I'm looking at
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace one that would not shut off if it was plugged in. So far this one is doing a great job. All the pre-programmed settings are a bit overwhelming but they do work.
