Air fryer temps. not customizable!

We have owned this Samsung Model: MC17T8000CS for over four years. At first impression I hoped that the multi features, microwave, convection oven, and air fry would fulfill some functional needs in our kitchen. For the most part the microwave is just that. The convection oven is for back-up for when we need another oven for holidays like Thankgiving, etc. The oven gets extremely hot. But the air fryer has left more to be desired. There are pre-set timings for specific frozen foods like french fries or chicken nuggets however there is no options for following recipes designed specifically for air fryer recipes. No way to adjust air fryer settings at all. No way to customize the temperatures for any type of air fryer recipes. Not having that option is very limiting. This was very disappointing since I have a very, very small kitchen with limited counter space. Because of that I have no room for extra appliances such as an independent air fryer to sit out all day long. If I had known the air fryer settings were not customizable I would have bought a different microwave. And, to top everything off, we cannot find out how to replace the interior light for the inside of the oven. It seems from what my boyfriend has told me. The whole unit has to be unmounted from the cabinets over the stove just to gain access to replace the burnt out interior light bulb. That is just crazy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love our new Samsung microwave!!! It connects to other Samsung devices via wifi, you even get alerts that food is ready. It doubles as an easy to use air fryer and convection oven, eliminating the need for separate units. What a bonus!! Not quite as strong as the one that came with our oven, I heat my coffee for 1:30 instead of 1 minute. I love the way it looks/fits in to the kitchen

Great second oven with a ton of features!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this for a couple months now and love having an extra convection oven. I am in Florida and last thing we want to do is use a full-size oven in the summer heat. This microwave/convection oven fits the bill. The only change i would make for the engineers is to relocate the fan button. this button seems to get hit every time the door is opened or closed because of the position of it. Otherwise great microwave with a ton of features that takes some figuring out! Ding one star because of fan button location.

Just installed and nothing worked day one. Has been 2 weeks and we're still waiting on a repair. Love Samsung, have too many products to mention, phones, other appliances, etc., but I'm severely disappointed with this one.

Broken in 2 days!!!

Microwave is broken in 2 days.. repair guy came today, after 1 week of waiting, and item was not fixed because some parts did not fit. Now we have to wait for another weeks to get parts. How its possible that item is broken right away, straight from the box.. .??? and customer service is not replacing it !! Very upset!
