Good stove tricky knobs

Do not waste your money

Saskatoon, SK. - We purchased and installed this stove in January of this year, 2021 and have had so many issues with the oven lighting that we have had 4 service calls - 2 ignitors replaced and another time they adjusted it to be closer (It is May 2021 now). At what point is this brand new appliance considered a lemon and we will receive a replacement? You turn the oven on and it is impossible to tell if it is lit or not. If it is lit sometimes the light goes out when you open the door, negating the heating and having to go through the process of trying to light it again. We had a different brand gas oven previously and had zero issues with it. Fully dissatisfied with the quality of product, which I find suprising as our Bosch dishwashers have worked so well. Do not purchase, it is not worth it.

great range in mid-price level

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the look and sturdiness of this range. It is easy to clean and operate. Having 6 burners gives much flexibility. The stove cooks well (I have gas) and heating the unit up is rather quick for this size stove which is great. The only two things that I'd tweak are the timer and preheat readiness functions. The timer is simply hard to figure out. When you pre-heat the oven there is no readiness light, just a ding. So if I am not standing right there, I may miss the ding. A little light or some other function to tell when the stove is ready is needed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Pretty much what everyone else as said

Looks awesome, cooks well. But Its a mystery how to turn it on, the knob temp for oven is hard to read, no digital readout as to what the actual temp is, it only beeps once to let you know its warmed up and a fan that runs loud and long (even after you've stopped cooking).
Really dissappointed and makes me wonder, what the heck are you thinking Bosch?!

The New Range

Sadly, we have been disappointed in our new Bosch, which came so highly recommended. The burners are sensitive and tricky to light. The oven fan runs for up to an hour after the oven goes off, so it is unnecessarily and persistently noisy. (I would disable this if I could!) The broiler is weak. The dial for oven temperature is very difficult to read because it is faint, tiny print and you have to turn your head sideways to read it. We like the heavy duty grates and variety of burner sizes. It is easy to clean the stove top.

Update on my previous reveiw

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In my last review in mentioned how the small burner would not light. The Bosch repairman fixed it in less than a minute. During the install we put the wrong burner cap on the wrong burner. That is all on us, because it does state in the instructions to make sure they are in the correct location. He also took care of the crooked feet with a little force. I gave it 5 stars to offset my 3 star reveiw. I still give it only 4 stars due to the feet problems. In this price range range this should never have been an issue. Now that all is fixed we really love the looks and function of this range. And would recommend.
