Love the Range - Over is a bit finicky

36" 800 Range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall very happy. A couple simple features would make it even better. Ability to check actual temperature...and wifi and also check temp via wifi. Surprised this is not possible.

Entire appliance package

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased all new appliances for my kitchen. It's been a month and I'm already having issues with oven not staying on. Microwave turns on by itself and dishwasher takes 3 hours to do each load. Not efficient and now I have to call Bosch and go through the pain of getting my oven fixed

Gas burner whistling

When gas burners are ignited, there is a distinct whistling sound. I have owned natural gas fuel ranges for decades and never heard this sound, which is loud and disturbing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

BOSCH 800 Series Gas Freestanding Range HGS8655UC

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's just okay. I got tired of looking and just settled. As it's LP Gas it heats way too high, ie...I set it at 300 and per the thermometer the correct temp is 350. It takes some getting used to for the oven and burners to actually turn on. If the "clicking" stops before it lights then you have to start over, and 9 times out of 10 you have to start over.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not Worth the Price

Range comes at a premium price but does not perform. Looks great but it ends there. When installed 1/2 of the burners did not work right. Bought from a 3rd party supplier and it was a nightmare to get someone out to fix it and still hasn't been fixed. Burners would light and then immediately shut off.
The OVEN cooling fan is ALWAYS ON when in use and takes about 45 mins to shut off when done cooking. It is difficult to have a conversation while cooking because of the fan. Has trouble relighting the oven when it is still warm. Wish that there was light better sign to show that it is done preheating.
