Display Unit Malfunctions

We've had this oven for three years. The display unit has gone out twice.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

DO NOT BUY THIS RANGE

This is our second range in the past 6 months. The experience was the same both times. The middle burner won’t light and the entire display flashes and the time starts blinking. After that the bake and convection bake settings no longer work on the oven. This model is a lemon. Look around on the internet. Lots of folks are having the same issue.

Off to a bad start

Good Quality, No Issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this dual fuel range to as a replacement to one that broke. We were somewhat constrained on replacement options because of the space we had to fit it in. That being said we're very happy with our purchase so far and have had no issues in the 2+ months we've had it. I know this range is industrial grade, but the burners are VERY powerful - even the lowest output is still very strong.

Too many electronic issues

We purchased this range as part of a kitchen renovation. It looks great. I love a few little features such as the oven light staying on while it's on and the proof setting. However, after installation we immediately noticed the clock couldn't keep time (actually gained time rather than lost over time). It took 4 service visits and 3 component replacements before Bosch finally acknowledged the issue. We also have intermittent issues where, when using the cooktop, the display panel will reset (as if power has been lost). It's now been about 10 months since installation and the oven has stopped working. In most settings, no heat is produced. On convection bake, the display shows 876 and will not show below 550. It's hard to comprehend spending so much on an oven and it's unusable less than a year later. We have had other Bosch appliances through the years and been happy. This has completely changed our opinion of the brand.
