[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dehumidifier did not even last 2 months before it stopped working. After my basement was flooded and I needed it to work it just didn’t work. And now I’m having a hard time getting my money back! I’m still waiting for my refund! I had to buy something else!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LG Puricare humidifier impressed me by how well it works and how easy it is to use. The sleek black plastic looks modern and the rollers make it easy to move. I really liked how the water collection bucket slips out and doesn't spill water. The bucket has a nice handle that makes pouring out the water simple. A nice feature is the automatic turn off because this humidifier really collects water. On a dry warm day, it still collected a half bucket of water in a short time. I also am impressed there is a option for continuous drainage with a hose. Though the drainage adapter is included, a hose is not. I did not find a need to use this feature. I did not experience any drips inside or outside the machine. It was quick to set up and use as well. The control panel is feature rich with timer, bucket full light, and many other options to customize the use. Over all, its a well designed and excellent humidifier.

The design is sleek and stylish, so I don’t mind having it out and displayed in my living room. The ease of use is fabulous- the water bucket is a breeze to lift without spills, and large enough to last for days without emptying. The controls are simple to use, and the auto-shut off feature is a huge bonus. I can feel the difference in my home after just a few uses. This appliance is a MUST HAVE!

Well this machine does the job to keep the Humidity at Bay. Its easy to use has a handle where you can transport it where ever you need it to be. Not a Durable Dehumidifier

This LG UD501KOG5 dehumidifier is 2-3 years old, and it has stopped working. The coil iced up, and the unit leaked all over our carpeting. It’s not very old, and I certainly expected more life out of this higher priced unit. My husband took off the cover and found that it was clean inside. The filter was not clogged. We have no idea why it suddenly decided to die. Can this unit be repaired?

Had the puricare dehumidifier for 4 years and now it just keeps running when power is turned off, and is warm to the touch. Conserved of fire Hazzard and safety of my family. To much money spent for this to happen. LG normally has quality products but this is very concerning. Still have the receipt, Need support to replace asap.
