[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had dehumidifier for 3 to 4 week,it's build quality is way ahead of everything else I have had in the last 15 years,very happy with it,very quiet, and to all reviewer's and LG customer support, it will cut off including the fan when the preset humidity percentage is achieved in the room when in auto mode with the actual digital humidity percentage number in the room on the display, I almost did not buy this unit because of the false reports that even when the humidity percentage number was achieved in the room,the compressor would stop,the fan would run continuously for 23 hours, then stop for an hour to rest,not correct, it will do the 23 on 1 off it u have it on manual constant run mode,but in auto mode,it will cut off and fan also ,until the humidity rises above your preset number then it will restart and control the humidity,! Hope this clarification helps.

The basement is always cold and damp..a room you dont really want to spend time in...but with this dehumidifier..it pulls buckets of water out of the air..so impressed! We leave it running nonstop..it makes a little music note sound when bucket full..I dump it and it's back to work. You will be pleased!

All good but one thing

All good but it does not have a continuous run setting. 12 hours max . Seems like it should and then shut off after it reaches the setting pre-set.

I have had this purifier running nonstop in my 120 yr old basement for 2 yrs now and it works perfect ! The bucket needs to be emptied once a day in summer months and once a week in winter . It has drastically improved the air quality in my basement and no more moldy smell

Doesn't work in less than 2 years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Coils freezing over and constantly runs without lowering humidity in less than 2 years. My mother has a dehudifier that is from the 80's or early 90's that still works. Products these days are terrible and LG should be ashamed to put their name on something this expensive that doesn't last 2 years. Use thicker copper and better welds and the coolant won't leak away causing this issue.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this several weeks ago and am totally amazed at how much water it takes out of the air. My wood floors were rising, as I was not running my a/c, a little chilly here is Florida at that time. Once I turned it on for a couple of days, the floors started to go back down. I am still running it at least 7 hours a day and am still amazed at how much water it take out of the air. I couldn't be happier with this de humidifier.
