Fire Hazard

After less than 4 years is not functioning properly. Seems to be a known problem after reading other reviews. Stays on even when turned off. Runs hot and non-stop. I am sure it is a fire hazard. When set at 50% found still running when room at 30%. I turned it off. It will turn back on on its own with no display lights on. Spent too much money on this product to have it quit now.

Sleek design and relatively quiet

Great Dehumidifier for Basement

LG builds the best products and the best value

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When my old LG dehumidifier compressor stopped working after about 15 years, I didn't look anywhere else for a replacement. For a very good price, the replacement proved to be a substantial upgrade. During the couple of months I have owned it, I continue to discover new features and recognize how well-engineered this product is. The efficiency is even greater than the previous model. The documentation and support I have received are excellent with simple, easy access. I am very pleased and grateful for this prioduct.

LG Dehumidifier, user friendly and quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought a few months ago, within 8 hours our basement humidity dropped by 10%. It has been keeping it at setpoint (40%) ever since. I hooked a hose up to the threaded attachment and it drains directly to my sump crock.
