After research and reviews we determined that the LG Puricare 50 was the correct tool so we ordered it. After running it for only a day and a half we found we could keep the humidity at any level we needed and it works perfectly. Easy to set up and use. We are extremely pleased and appreciate the quality of this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I run mine continuously 23 hours a day. The auto 1 hour shutoff if very useful to prevent the overheating. It’s relatively quiet compared to the other dehumidifiers, and it works great at removing the moisture in the air. My basement not only feels drier but air smells cleaner. I think the included simple air filter does the job better than I expected. Overall I’m satisfied with the purchase.

Seems to be working fine but was surprised to find a large dent in the lower back case. Outside shipping box wasn’t damaged.

Bought this in Sept 2022 and it worked great, kept basement dry and fresh smelling. It was not required during the winter but was again put into service in April 2023. We noticed a very disturbing odor in the room. Eventually it was discovered to be coming from the air being emitted from the dehumidifier. Once removed the odor was no longer present, we returned the machine to the place of purchase and received a refund.

Dehumidifier--avoid

bought in Summer of 2022; worked Ok; when I went to use it this May 2023, it would freeze up and not collect water. All its tests said it was OK lol I believe its either a design or manufacturing defect. Only 1yr warranty so I was out of luck!
