[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this dehumidifier about 3 weeks ago and it works very efficiently. The humidity in our basement has always been around 70 percent and we would run our old one all day and it would lower if maybe 5 degrees. This new one will lower it from 70 to 55 or 50 in several hours. I would highly recommend this for anyone that needs to get humidity out of an area.

Cooler in summer and I believe it’ll be warmer in winter. Easy to use and I like the digital display. Bucket easy to empty and it does come with external drain attachment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to replace an old dehumidifier in a damp cottage basement. Sorry now I did not replace it years ago. The new machine is quieter, has two fan speeds, looks nicer and removes 3 times as much water as the older unit! The auto defrost will also come in handy if temps cool down to below 60 in the basement. Took the basement from 70 percent humidity to 50 percent in 3 days! And, we had pouring rain for about 12 hours on the last day! The old model would have been lucky to do that in a week in ideal conditions?

My daughter used a wet and vac and all the water that was visible was cleaned up. The drain is in a spot that is not seen so the water had been seeping under the baseboards. I may have to tear them out in the end but the dehumidifier will sometimes fill up twice a day. I always read reviews before purchasing something and this one did not disappoint.

It has a built in air filter you just vacuum clean. And you can set it up to drain continually. Controls are easy to use and to set it to different settings. Would definitely purchase again.
