Let me preface by saying that I've have iPhones since 2007. My rating takes into effect that the iphone 17 Pro comes with IOS 26 which, in my humble opinion, far exceeds it's predecessor. I would have upgraded at any rate just for the enhanced camera. I am a bit of a photography buff, so I appreciate that Apple finally decided to go all in on the camera aspect. IOS 26 combined with the 17 Pro functionality catapults it far ahead and apart from everything that came before.
